Our program takes a multidisciplinary team approach to your care. Your care team includes fellowship-trained surgeons, a medical weight loss physician, registered nurses, registered dietitians, patient care technicians, a psychologist, nurse practitioners, a program coordinator and insurance coordinators.
Surgeons
Keenan Berghoff, MD, FACS, FASMBS, is the medical director of the Total Weight Loss Center. He is a board-certified general surgeon with fellowship training in advanced laparoscopic surgery and bariatric procedures.
Joshua Mourot, MD, FACS, FASMBS, is a board-certified general surgeon with fellowship training in advanced laparoscopic surgery and bariatric procedures.
Fellowship training means that after Dr. Berghoff and Dr. Mourot finished their general surgery training, they each completed one-year programs that focused exclusively on bariatric surgery.
Medical Weight Loss Physician (Bariatrician)
Breann Kelley, MD, DABOM, is board-certified in internal medicine. She specializes in using nonsurgical weight loss methods to treat obesity, overweight people and weight-related health conditions.

Nurse Practitioners
Allyssa Plymell, APRN, is a board-certified nurse practitioner. She received her master's degree in Nursing at the University of Missouri Kansas City and completed her bachelor's degree in Nursing at Missouri Western State University. Before joining the Total Weight Loss Center team, she worked as a nurse practitioner in gastroenterology for three years and worked as an RN caring for post-operative bariatric patients for four years. Allyssa is committed to helping people live healthy lives and feel good about themselves.
Nicholas Rodriguez, APRN, is a board-certified adult and geriatric acute care nurse practitioner. He earned his bachelor's degree in Nursing at the University of Arkansas and completed his master's in Nursing Science at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Nicholas is a member of the Total Weight Loss Center and the Meritas Health Comprehensive Surgery teams. Before joining the Total Weight Loss Center, Nicholas worked as a nurse practitioner in cardiothoracic surgery and advanced laparoscopic general and bariatric surgery in Northwest Arkansas. Nicholas enjoys caring for patients through each step of their weight loss journey.
